Privacy notice

This notice explains what Electrolite Systems Pvt. Ltd. ("Electrolite") does with the details you give us through this website. In short: we use them to reply to your enquiry and quote for it, and for nothing else.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry, a quotation request or a message, we receive what you typed: your name, phone number, and, if you give them, your company name, email address, your message, and the products and quantities on your enquiry list.
With an enquiry we also record the page you sent it from, and how you first reached our website in the previous 30 days: for example a Google search, an advertisement, or a link from IndiaMART. This helps us see which of our listings and advertising are useful.
We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and does not identify you: it records the pages viewed, the website you came from, your country, and your type of device and browser. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.
Where your enquiry goes
- To our enquiry records. Pressing "Send enquiry" saves it to our enquiry records, a Google Sheet in Electrolite's own Google account, and emails a copy to our sales inbox. Only Electrolite's staff can see them.
- To WhatsApp, if you choose. "Send on WhatsApp" opens WhatsApp with the message ready. You send it yourself, and WhatsApp handles it under its own privacy terms. A copy is also saved to our enquiry records, so it cannot be lost.
Why we use it
To reply to you, prepare a quotation, supply what you order, and keep the business and tax records the law requires. We do not sell your details or pass them to anyone else for their marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for eight years, the period our business and tax records are kept for under Indian law. After that we delete them. You can ask us to delete your details sooner, unless the law requires us to keep them.
What stays in your browser
Your enquiry list is saved in your own browser, on your device, so it is still there when you come back. So is a note of how you first reached the site, kept for 30 days. We cannot see either until you send an enquiry. On a shared computer, use "Clear list" on the enquiry page when you have finished.
Other services on this site
The website is hosted by Vercel, whose servers keep short-lived technical logs (such as your IP address and browser) to keep the site secure. The contact page can show a Google map; when it loads, Google receives your IP address and browser details under its own privacy policy. Links to manufacturers' websites take you to sites with their own policies.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also raise a complaint with us. Email contact@electrolite.in and we will respond.
