Electrolite Systems · Vadodara · Since 2007
The complete electrical BOQ, from one supplier.
Electrolite Systems is an electrical products distributor in Vadodara, trading since 2007. We hold seven principal brands: Siemens, Hager, OBO Bettermann, Norisys, APAR, RR Kabel and Precision. From the incoming air circuit breaker to the last cable tie, quoted on one purchase order.

Everything between the street and the socket
Every electrical installation passes through these six stages. It is worth asking any supplier which of them they can actually quote.
Incoming supply
Stage 1 of 6Air and moulded case circuit breakers, 16 A to 4000 A, protecting the whole installation.
Distribution boards
Stage 2 of 6SPN, TPN, vertical and phase-segregated enclosures, IP20 through IP65, type tested to IEC 61439.
Circuit protection
Stage 3 of 6MCBs, residual current devices, RCBOs, surge protection and arc fault detection on every final circuit.
Conduit and containment
Stage 5 of 6Cable trays and ladders, PVC and steel conduit, trunking, IP67 boxes and cable ties. The half of the bill everyone forgets.
Switches and sockets
Stage 6 of 6The only part the building's occupants ever touch. Value ranges through architectural and luxury.
Electrolite quotes all six. Send a bill of quantities that spans them and it comes back as one priced document, on one purchase order.

Why buy from Electrolite
One supplier, one invoice
Most counters carry one or two brands and send you elsewhere for the rest. Electrolite prices the whole bill of quantities, protection through conduit. One order to chase, and one person accountable when something is short on site.
Certified, and we can prove it
ISI marking is mandatory on switch-socket-outlets, and since 13 January 2026 on cable trunking and ducting too. Everything we supply under a BIS order carries the ISI mark, and we will give you the licence number if you ask. Everything else is tested to the IEC or EN standard named on its product page.
Technical selection, not just supply
Cable sizing, breaker coordination, IP and enclosure selection, LSZH where smoke matters. Send us the load and the drawing and we will specify it. A marketplace cannot do that.
Not sure what you need?
Straight answers to the questions that come up before anyone knows a part number.
Which MCB curve should you use: B, C or D?
B curve trips at 3–5 times rated current and suits resistive loads like lighting and heaters. C curve trips at 5–10 times and is the general-purpose choice for mixed domestic and commercial circuits. D curve trips at 10–20 times, for motors and transformers with high inrush current.
FR, FRLS or LSZH cable: what is the difference?
FR cable resists spreading flame. FRLS adds reduced smoke and lower acid gas. LSZH, also written LS0H or HFFR and covered by IS 17048, contains no halogens at all, so it produces very little smoke and no corrosive gas. Specify LSZH wherever people must evacuate through the smoke.
How do you choose the right cable size?
Start from the design current of the load, then apply derating factors for ambient temperature, grouping with other cables, and installation method. Check that voltage drop over the full run stays within limits, usually 3% for lighting and 5% for power. The larger of the two results sets the size.
MCB, RCCB, RCBO or AFDD: which protects against what?
An MCB protects the wiring from overload and short circuit. An RCCB protects people from electric shock by detecting earth leakage. An RCBO combines both in one device. An AFDD detects the arcing in damaged wiring that causes fires but never draws enough current to trip an MCB.
BIS QCO 2026 for electrical accessories: what changed?
The January 2026 amendment removes the insulating-tape entry for IS 7809 (Part 3/Section 1):1986 from Table 1 of the Electrical Accessories QCO. Cable trunking and ducting under IS 14927 (Part 2):2001 already appeared in the original order. Check the applicable standard, commencement provisions and any later exemptions for the specific product.
Which IP rating do you need for an enclosure?
An enclosure's first IP digit describes protection against solid objects and its second describes water protection under specified tests. Choose the rating against the actual exposure and the manufacturer's installation conditions. IP ratings alone do not establish UV resistance, corrosion resistance or suitability for every outdoor, washdown or flood condition.
