We hold the full Hager range from a 6 A miniature breaker to a 4000 A air circuit breaker, alongside Siemens protection and the SINOPLUS value line - so a panel can be built from one brand where the specification demands it, or value-engineered across two where it does not.
Discrimination is where specifications quietly fail
If a downstream fault trips the incomer instead of the local breaker, the whole plant stops for a fault in one machine. Getting that right means matching curves, breaking capacities and time delays across three or four levels of the distribution - which is a design exercise, not a purchasing one. It is also why buying each level from whoever is cheapest tends to produce an installation that works until the first real fault.
What we supply for this
Incoming protection
Hager hws air circuit breakers, 630 A to 4000 A, at 50, 66 and 85 kA, in fixed and draw-out versions. Type L trip units for standard duty, Type A adding current measurement on an LCD, Type H adding communications for plants running energy monitoring.
Distribution and motor circuits
Hager h3+ MCCBs from 40 A to 630 A with adjustable LSI and LSIG trip units, HWC contactors from 9 A to 630 A, and HWR overload relays. Siemens 5SL7 K-curve breakers for motor circuits that would nuisance-trip a C curve on inrush.
Changeover and supply continuity
Manual changeover switches from 63 A to 800 A, motorised automatic transfer switches with controller, and automatic changeover current limiters for sites running on generator backup.
Control panel build
RR Kabel control cable in 5 to 24 cores, screened and pair-screened instrumentation cable to BS EN 50288-7, and Precision FRLS panel trunking in standard and thin slot.
Cable routing, earthing and surge protection
OBO Bettermann cable trays, welded cable ladders and mesh trays in hot-dip galvanised and stainless steel, with published loads for every support spacing. OMEX earth rods and equipotential busbars for the earthing system, and the LightningController Type 1+2 arrester for the main panel.
